Came here on a Wednesday for dinner. We were almost immediately seated, perhaps due to our early arrival (5pm), and thus the restaurant was not completely full and was still available for walk in. After about 2 - 3 mins after being seated, we were immediately approached by a staff that took our order. Depsite us being not ready to order yet, she patiently guided as through and answered our questions. The Yangzhou fried rice was nice, though nothing out of the ordinary, just well made fried rice. The century egg spinach (not in picture) was nice, and was really flavourful. The century egg was nice too, and the quantity was good. We ordered the chilli crab (mud crab) and mantou. The crab was really soft, and the chilli sauce was really delicious and flavourful, without being too spicy. Overall, the food is really delicious. To ensure that you can taste the other dishes, definitely try to consume the weaker tasting foods before eating the stronger tasting ones (e.g. chilli crab). Price is on the high end, but i suppose once in a while it's ok.Stefan Nugroho

The service staff were excellent - both at East Coast and Riverwalk branches. Polite, knowledgeable and sharp to observe your needs! The Chinese spinach was pathetic- especially the salted egg cubes which tasted like artificial gum, the century egg is too hard, not “oily” enough. The chilli crab served to its expected standard- I was there 3 weeks ago and the taste is consistent. I was disappointed that I could not use my Dec birthday discount because the Alaskan crab was already discounted and even though we clocked $552.14 in total bill, we could not reach the required $200 after taking out the Alaskan crab. There was only 2 of us. Can you consider extending the voucher till end Jan as an exception? I would have love to use it but I’ll be travelling 22 Dec, returning 23 Jan. Thank youlay hwa chong

We had a great time at Jumbo Seafood Riverside, Singapore. The private room we got came with a really nice view, which made the whole experience even better. The food was, as always, consistently good. The bamboo clam was huge and absolutely delicious, definitely at a highlight. And of course, the famous chilli crab didn’t disappoint - we had a 1.6 kg one, and it was really, really good. Overall, a solid dining experience with great food and atmosphere.Francis Leung

the alaskan king crab here is incredible and definitely worth the splurge. a huge plus is that you can have one order prepared in two different ways. while all the styles were great, i highly recommend the steamed version to really taste the natural sweetness of the crab!Meldea Marischa

Haven’t been to Jumbo for several years. We were craving for chilli crabs so Jumbo was our top choice. The chilli crabs were so fresh and sweet. However, they were less spicy than before, we reckoned the outlet caters more to tourists (who might not be able to take spicy dishes). We requested “more spicy” for its Mee Goreng - turned out really good as the squids and prawns were so fresh. As for the stir-fried asparagus with XO sauce, it was flavourful but could have been better if they used the medium-sized ones or fried or steamed them abit longer. Overall, we had a nice meal, and the next time, we will ask for our crabs to be “more spicy”.C G
