Before you plan: match week is busy
The 2027 Ryder Cup runs September 13-19 at Adare Manor, with matches Friday 17 to Sunday 19. Practice days are Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15, and Thursday 16 has the Opening Ceremony. General admission sold out, so if your golfer has tickets, you may be the one with free days.
Book restaurants, castle entry and cliff visits early. Adare is small, and the plan below spreads your days between the village, Limerick city and Clare.

Getting around during match week
There is no on-site parking at Adare Manor. Spectators use pre-booked, paid park-and-ride sites, 10-30 minutes from the course by shuttle bus. A shuttle train will also run from Limerick Junction to a temporary station at Adare Manor in about 45 minutes. Shannon Airport is 25 minutes from the manor.
If you are hiring a car for day trips, fill the tank before you leave and allow extra time on the N18 and N21. Pick a designated driver if you plan to stay out for music in Limerick, because it is 25-30 minutes back to Adare.
Our day-by-day plan fits these trips around the match days. For more on the village, see Adare Manor and Adare, or browse Ireland.
