Tribee Kinh Hostel & Bar travel guide

I stayed at Tribee Kinh on Monday of this week to Thursday morning. I was so happy with the service, hospitality and kindness the staff at Tribee showed me I felt I had to write this review as soon as possible. The hostel facilities themselves were brilliant. The dorms were clean and well ventilated. The hostel also offer a lot of fun free tours and activities from night to night. But the staff at this hostel made my stay what it was. On my first night I came down with an infection resulting from a nasty bite (still not sure what :S). I was quite distressed and didn't know Hoi An at all, and so the receptionist kindly offered to take me to the hospital herself, despite the fact it went above and beyond her call of duty to do this. Overall, the location, atmosphere and facilities paired with the attentive, helpful and wonderful staff makes Tribee the best hostel I've stayed at in Vietnam so far. Love this place. The staff is so nice and helpful, they really want you to enjoy your stay. Very social atmosphere. Cheap beer and fun table games so every night people were drinking and hanging out in the common area. The free spring roll demonstration is AMAZING and delicious. Clean, hot showers (not lukewarm like a lot of places), good food. The only negative for me was the pub crawl only goes to very touristy bars with more expensive beer and spring-break vibes. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at during my tours in SE Asia. Clean and spacious rooms with safety locks and AC. Very polite and helpful staff speaks fluent English and creates really friendly atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was really tasty and even better than I received in some 2* or 3* hotels. I was happy to stay 2 nights.D R

This is kinda a party hostel, but they are really organized and have it together. Really fun place to meet people. The breakfast is legit, the free street food tour was a highlight of my trip, great location. The no-bunk bed thing was cool when I had befriended the people in my room, but then a bit awkward when new people came in and I didn’t have a chance to meet them, as there’s less privacy.Molly Eadie

One of the easiest hostels to meet fellow travelers. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, fun activities every night, free breakfast (pretty basic though). They also have motorbikes for hire. They blast loud music downstairs until 10pm, but after that it's officially quiet time. Most people head out on the bar crawl at that point anyways. Had a great time here and highly recommend it.Mike Allegrezza
