This is a small museum displaying of how people from Zermatt lived in the old days & telling the history of the climbers trying to climb the Matterhorn. The entrance is on the ground level & the actual museum is on the lower ground floor. Our first feeling when we walked down the stairs was.... it was so damp inside! It has many displays, I particularly loved the interior of the old houses & the animals (i.e. Blacknose sheeps) displays. Unfortunately, overall the exhibition was not our cup of tea but it's still good for us to understand a bit more of the local culture & history of Zermatt. In my opinion, it's highly recommended for those who are interested in local history & especially for those who have a Swiss Travel Pass.Kenny K
