The staff is the highlight of this hotel - very friendly and helpful! We also booked our airport pick-up through the hotel and it worked out perfectly. However as for the hotel itself, we unfortunately had a poor experience. In disclosure, we booked this hotel after our previous hotel fell through and we largely based the choice on reviews. We were pretty disappointed at how different our experience was from other reviews and not sure why there are such inconsistent experiences. Our room was dark and hot and the bathroom had moisture and mildew issues. Several light switches didn't work. Our private terrace had no view and a weird smell and the rooftop terrace was not open. If we could have found another hotel at the last minute without losing so much money, or if we were staying any longer, we would have. Some simple upgrades to doors, door hardware, and paint would go a long way (black paint isn't helping). The location is good except that cars cannot navigate the tight streets so we were dropped off quite far away - luckily our airport pick-up came from a different direction, still couldn't fully reach the hotel, but a much shorter walk and the driver helped with luggage. Something to keep in mind. This would be a good hotel if you're not looking for much although the price point is in line with much nicer hotels in Rome so travelers would understandably expect a higher quality. We had a wonderful stay at the Coronari Palace. It is in an amazing location near lots of walkable shops and restaurants. It has a neighborhood feel due to it being located in a mostly pedestrian cobblestone road. Additionally, it is a short walk (15-30min) to all the main attractions! There is a taxi stop almost next to the Hotel. The staff were so friendly. They stored our luggage when we arrived before checking in and brought our luggage up to our room for us. The breakfast was great (especially the croissants and cappuccino. The beds were comfortable and It was exactly what we needed for our stay in Rome!Hilary Haefner

I would strongly advise future guests to avoid this hotel. We had to urgently leave due to a medical situation. He confirmed that he had no authority to help, charged only the city tax, and told us to email our request for a refund for the unused nights. Despite this, the hotel refused to refund even the two nights we did not stay, showing zero understanding or empathy for the situation. Instead of support, we received cold, dismissive communication and excuses about “protocols” that were never mentioned while we were there. My parents are I shared the Junior Suite with Terrace. The room itself was very clean and had enough space, and the private terrace was quiet and a great way to end each day. The staff were extremely curious and attentive and helped to provide recommendations, and the rooftop bar service was a nice touch! The location was also perfect - not too loud but very accessible to all of the sites. Overall, would stay again and recommend to others!Taylor Caldwell

Centrally located with a very nice room, we stayed in the terrace suite and really enjoyed the large outdoor space. The staff was very friendly, and the overall experience was ideal for a relaxed, no-drama stay.Juan
