We went here because it is touted as the birthplace of bubble tea fully prepared for it to be over hyped. However, we were really pleasantly surprised!! We got there at 11am when it opened on a Thursday and there was no line. It did start to get busier as we sat at our table over the next hour, but still no actual line waiting to be served. We were given a paper menu to mark what we wanted and give to the cashier to order and the server gave us recommendations! We ended up getting the original milk tea with tapioca, handmade sesame noodles, and chili pork belly. Firstly, the food was 10/10. Both were so so good and pretty filling as well. 100% better than expected. The bubble tea was different from what we have had before, but also very good and paired super well with salty pork and rich noodles. We drink a lot of bubble tea in Japan and the US, and it is usually a lot sweeter at the many boba shops I've been to in my life (I am the type of person to go for 50% sweet at most shops). This boba is not your mega sweet dessert drink even at 100% sweetened. It does however have good tea flavor and is super creamy so we enjoyed it! To order, you fill out a menu template where you select the dishes you want. The food was fresh, generous, and tasty overall. Check out the available combo options. Keep in mind that large-size teas or drinks are really big and might be too much if you’re eating as well. The place is nice and clean, service is quick, and the staff are friendly. Even though we didn’t speak the same language, communication wasn’t a problem and we felt very welcome. It’s located on the lower floors of a shopping center — spacious, organized, and pleasant. The fried chicken was the star of the meal; after the first round, we couldn’t resist ordering a second one. Prices are fair for the portions and service. Dining here is like a high end version of the local delights. All the dishes are graceful and presented beautifully. The milk tea is served in a nice cup. The crispy chicken is crispy and juicy. The noodles is also coated richly with the sauces. The service is also top quality with the staff being very attentive and polite. Price is definitely on the high sideEQ Xavier

Not giving 5 star because, the waiter & cashier was behaving very awfully 🙄 One of the must try places in Taiwan😊, we had the brunch & I must say it was memorable. Boba milk tea: 9.5/10 Pork rice set with drink: 8/10 Shumai: 8.5/10 Soup: 9/10 The ambience is nice. This place gets quite crowded and difficult to get a seat if it's meal times. The food was very flavorful & delicious ❤️ However, idk if it's a chain restaurant thing, the young man who took us in, was speaking very loudly. The cashier didn't tell us about the drink coming along with the pork rice, we had to ask for it. None of the stuff ever smiled, it kinda made me feel very unwelcomed. The beef noodle soup is hearty and full of flavors. They have one of the best tasting spicy wonton dish. Bubble milk tea is a must try as they claim to be the first to add Boba to a milk tea.tordj
