Everytime I think about my trip to Bali, I always think of Cascades first (and Viceroy Bali of course). It’s such a special place because the food is amazing quality and almost fine dining, but it still feels so authentic and relaxed. What really stayed with me was the staff. They are locals from Nagi village (where the hotel is located) and some have been there for almost 20 years (since the hotel opened). You can really feel that in the service, it’s just so heartfelt and genuine. I can see why Kim Kardashian and her family chose to dine here when they were in Bali! The standards are so high but it feels like a home. The breakfast was incredible and we loved the cocktails and social hour too. Thank you so much to the team for welcoming me and my family. I mean I can’t say much else for the price. Expensive by Bali standards, but the normal price of food from the countries tourists usually come from. Came here as a birthday treat, and was given impeccable service as well as a complimentary dessert from the kindness of the staff. All this in addition to being hosted at the lavish resort that is Viceroy. The Ox tail soup is great if you know how to eat from a vertebrae, and pizza was better than expected. Had such a lovely meal at Cascade Bali at Viceroy Ubud. The food was seriously good and the view is beautiful, such a relaxing spot. I’m vegetarian and they catered to my dietary needs so easily without making it a big deal. The staff were super accommodating and made everything feel effortless. Absolutely great place. The food and service is extraordinary. Although it was a buffet meal it was amongst the best I have ever had. Better than some fine dining restaurants. The only negative is the lack of air conditioning and cooling in the restaurant area. Makes it uncomfortable with the high humidity.mgrays100
