I love this place! I was surprised that there’s no parking or entrance fee, and you don’t need to buy any tickets. The view of Da Nang from up there is amazing. I’m not sure what the tall statue is called, but it was incredible to see so many people offering their prayers. There are also a lot of monkeys roaming around, so be careful—they do snatch food! The beverages are decently priced too, which is rare for tourist spots. A 350ml bottle of water was just 5k, like you’d find in vending machines. There are photographers offering to take pictures for 50k, and I think it’s a nice way to support the locals. As for the crowd, expect more and more people as the day goes on. We arrived before 8 AM, and by the time we left, it was getting much busier. Also, be ready for a lot of walking. Make sure to bring an umbrella and dress modestly.Rhealaine Sayson
